Day 1: Baku Lights night tour

Cover the highlights of Baku on this after-hours evening tour, which shows you the glittering lights of the city after dark. Explore a mix of old and new, getting an in-depth introduction to both modern and traditional sides of the city. Highlights include a look at Flame Towers all lit-up, and a visit to seaside-facing Flag Square, one of the tallest flagpoles in the world.

Day 2: Baku City Tour (Walking)

Tour to Old City Baku and around: The ideal introduction to Baku, this action-packed tour takes you to the many of Azerbaijan’s most fascinating locations in Baku centrum. Explore the centuries-old historic walled center, Shirvanshah’s Palace, Maiden Tower, marvel at a city-wide panorama from Highland Park, and get a peek at tiny manuscripts at the Miniature Books Museum.

Day 3: Day Trip Baku GROUP Tour

Discover all that Baku and its surroundings have to offer on this full-day tour. See the prehistoric petroglyphs at Gobustan National Park, learn about the mud volcanoes and their healing properties, visit the Zoroastrian fire temple of Ateshgah, explore the fire mountain of Yanardag, and admire the architecture of Baku's modern city center. This tour includes a tour guide and transportation to all of the sights from your hotel.

  • Mud Volcanoes: a whole family of ‘geologically flatulent’ little conical mounds that erupt with thick, cold, grey mud
  • Gobustan National Park: Cave Paintings exploring the history of times up to 40.000 years.
  • Lunch: Local restaurant serving traditional food
  • Ateshgah: “Fire Temple of Baku”. A castle-like religious temple based on Persian and Indian inscriptions, the Zoroastrian place of worship
  • Yanardagh “Burning Mountain”

Day 4: Gabala & Shamakhi GROUP Tour

Azerbaijan’s top provincial holiday centre, Gabala is a string of flashy new hotels and a burgeoning ski resort spread up into the foothills of some glorious forested mountains.

 

Tour Program:

  • Pickup from hotel
  • Visit to Shamakhi
  • Juma Mosque. The first mosque in all Caucasus and in Azerbaijan
  • Lunch (forest restaurant serving traditional food)
  • Nohurgol Lake: The lake is surrounded by a forest. You can walk around or sail on a boat*
  • Yeddi Gozel Waterfall “Seven Beauties Waterfall”. Located 4 km away from the center of Gabala city, in the village of Vandam
  • Tufandag: one of the longest teleferic of the world. Whether for skiing or just for memorable summer views of the Alpine scenery behind Gabala, jump aboard the Tufandag network of four cable cars
  • Drive back to Baku. Drop-off to hotel

 

Day 5: Departure

Check-out from the hotel. Pickup from hotel, and transfer to Heydar Aliyev airport (GYD).

Where does Azerbaijan Tour Package start?

- Firstly, we will meet You in airport, and transfer You to your Baku accommodation.

 

- Below are the pickup information according to the tours in the package:

  • Baku Lights night tour starts at 8 pm. You'll meet your guide at your Baku accommodation.
  • Baku City Tour (Walking) starts at 11 am. You'll meet your guide at your Baku accommodation.
  • Day Trip Baku tour starts at 10 am. You'll meet your guide at your Baku accommodation.
  • Gabala & Shamkhi tour starts at 9 am. You'll meet your guide at your Baku accommodation.

 

- Usually the pickup from your accommodation is 30 minutes before the departure. We'll send You the exact pickup (meeting) times through WhatsApp or email.

 

 

Where does Azerbaijan Tour Package end?

- At the end of each tour, the tour car will drop-off You to your Baku accommodation place.

- In your last day, we are going to meet You in your Baku accommodation and transfer to Baku airport.

Can I choose a different day to attend in the tours?

Yes, You can! If You travel to Azerbaijan for 5 or more days, and if You want to buy this package, it is possible to attend at a different day in mentioned daily group tours.

Example: You travel for 6 days to Baku. We will meet You in Baku airport at your 1st day, and transfer to airport at the 6th day. You can join the tours at your 2nd, 3rd, 4th or 5th day. Please contact us if You have any additional requirements.

 

Do You pickup from Baku train station?

- Yes, we do! If You travel to Baku by train, we can meet You in Baku Train Station at your 1st day.

- In your last day, we will transfer You to train station if You leave Baku by train.

 

How You meet me on arrival day?

- According to your arrival details, our representative or driver is going to meet You in Baku airport (or in train station) by green TES Tour logo-board:

Is there much walking in Azerbaijan Tour Package?

- Not much walking is involved in most of the tours, as we drive right to the activity points.

- Only in Day 2, the Baku City Tour is a walking tour inside and outside of Old City Baku (Icherisheher). Please consider about 3 hours walking for this tour.
